Last year it was, Web3 will disrupt insert billion-dollar company here now the tech world's new heartthrob AI is going through the same phase.
Paul Buchheit the creator of Gmail in a tweet said :

But one thing I think google is highly likely to do is integrate AI with the search engine, letting users have both side by side (like the AI tool of the day, !wink).
Meta is expanding its use of AI face scanning to verify users’ age on Facebook Dating

Facebook is testing ways for people to verify their age when using the platform’s dating app, including using an AI face-scanning tool.
In a blog post, Meta announced it would start prompting users on Facebook Dating to verify that they’re over 18 if the platform suspects a user is underage.
Meta already use Yoti (the AI for age face scanning) on Instagram, so they plan on testing and porting it over to Facebook Dating, but there’s one downer the AI is generally inaccurate for female and people of race. Yoti’s data shows that its accuracy is worse for “female” faces and people with darker complexions. Researchers have flagged concerns over how facial recognitions and analysis software performs differently for people along age, race, and gender lines.

19-year-old Lillian was driving and vaping (should this even be allowed??) with her phone in the driving seat
An AI-powered camera used to detect drivers breaking the law and charge them automatic fines, saw her car and thought she was on the phone ( calling) then charged her $1078.

Let's be honest, the AI f*cked up badly in this one cause we can clearly see her phone on the chair next to her in the second frame. Also, her pingers look a lot closer to her mouth holding something lean than her ears holding something wide.
Just saying… pure logic
